Hiring manager permissions

When it comes to figuring out who should see which jobs, there are two basic ways you can make Dropboard work for your team.

1) Everyone on the team collaborates on all jobs and candidates

This is the default path - no action needs to be taken. Everyone in your organization will be able to see all jobs and candidates.

You'll still specify a hiring manager for each job, but that won't limit others from working with you.

2) Silo hiring managers

If you want your hiring managers to be focused only on their jobs, you can set up Dropboard so that hiring managers cannot see or edit jobs from other hiring managers.

Go to Settings > Organizations and click "Would you like to enable hiring manager permissions?"

That will reveal settings like this:

Check the "Restrict jobs" checkbox to enable this feature. Immediately, your team members will only be able to see the jobs where they are marked as the hiring manager. Similarly they won't see candidate applications to jobs they do not own.

Exceptions

Owners always have visibility of all jobs and candidates. You can extend this restriction to "Admins" in your settings if you'd like.
