Structured SEO

Dropboard's public job links support structured search engine optimization data to help crawlers like Google index your jobs.

For best results, use the following guidelines when formatting your jobs:

Location

Provide a valid country code at the end of your location, preceded by a comma. If the job is 100% remote, specify "Remote" as the location.

✅ Good examples:

San Francisco, USA

Remote

❌ Bad examples:

San Francisco

Compensation

For search engines to understand salary information of jobs, include either an estimated salary or a salary range. Include the currency symbol and if using a range, include a dash between the min and max values.

✅ Good examples:

$50,000

$50,000 - $80,000

€50k

€50k - €80k

❌ Search engines will ignore salaries like these:

Varies with experience

$35k base + 10% commission

Open and end dates

We recommend either using Dropboard's open during timeframe feature to assert when a job will be open and when it will close, or ensuring that you manually close jobs when they are no longer accepting applications.
