Custom field types

When using our form designer to add questions to a Dropboard's application, you can choose from these field types:

Short answer

Appears to the candidate as a one-line textbox.


Long answer

Appears to the candidate as a multi-line textbox.


Choose one

Appears to the candidate as a dropdown where they can choose a single item from a list.


Choose multiple

Appears to the candidate as a series of checkboxes where they can choose multiple items from a list. If marked as required, the candidate must check at least one box.


Candidate reference

Asks the candidate for a reference. They will be presented with textboxes for name and relationship (ergo: "Jane Doe" and "Director at Firm ABC"). They'll also be asked to supply either an email address or a phone number.


File attachment

Prompts the candidate to upload any file, limited to 10MB each.


Paragraph

Appears to the candidate as an informative block of text, with an optional headline. This is useful for separating out parts of the application form or explaining how you'd like certain fields to be answered.
