Email templates for clients
Your organization can set up email templates to be sent as candidates move through your hiring workflows. To get an in-depth look at this feature, we suggest starting here: Creating email templates.
This article shows you what you need to know about this feature when it comes to your recruiting clients.
When you create an email template, either from scratch or by letting our AI draft it for you, you can decide on the following ways to restrict the template:
No restriction
The template will be available to your everyone: your team and your clients. This is a great choice for generic emails like "Sorry, we're not interested" so that you have easy go-to language for all your hiring needs.
Restrict to your top-level organization
You may have some workflows that aren't meant for your clients. This could be for your own hiring or for hiring you're doing for clients that don't receive portal access. By using this restriction, your clients won't see these templates.
Restricted to a specific client
The final option is to make an email template only for a specific client. Each client may have their own tone or choice of language and that should be reflected in their outbound emails.
Sending emails as candidates move stages
Workflows make use of your email templates to prompt the hiring manager with a draft email to send at certain points in the hiring process. At that time, the hiring manager can decide to choose a different template from your account.
The restrictions you place on email templates are reflected here, just as they are when setting up your workflows, so that a client never sees templates they aren't meant to see.
